        Kyle King and Valry Swaim won four matches as the fourth seed en route to big wins in exciting JBT dual-conference action at Cerbat Lanes.

        Swaim began her climb up the handicap division stepladder with a 241-181 win over Britni Glasspool.  Swaim then edged KJ Martinez 225-218, and followed with a 252-236 victory over Blake Kalaf, who led much of the event, to reach the title match.

        Top seed Courtney Boniecki, on her way home to Houston from a fourth place finish at the Main Event, grabbed the lead here after the eighth game.  However, Swaim was on the best roll of her JBT career, and it continued in the title match.  She beat Courtney 234-179, earning the first title of her career and joining her sister as JBT champions.

        King began the simultaneous ladder-climbing with a 268-178 win over early-round leader Dustin Grant.  King then beat Aaron Foshie 217-205, and followed with a 227-193 win over Mark Myers to reach the title match. 

        18-time JBT champ Cameron Smith torched the Dead Man's Curve lane pattern to grab the top seed.  However, a so-so Kyle King is a dangerous thing, but Kyle on a roll is nearly untouchable, and even the talented Smith could not match his pace in a 237-219 win for the King of our Tour.  The win was the third in a row for him personally (including the prestigious Main Event), and a historic one as well, as it was the almost unreal 50th of his JBT career, continuing to extend that record.
