        Tyler was the lucky name at Narrows Plaza Bowl Saturday, as Tylers Cruz and Satter captured JBT titles in exciting Pacific Northwest Conference action.

        Tanner Spacey made a great run up the scratch division stepladder finals to get to Cruz.  He began with a 211-165 win over Marshall Kent.  Tanner then beat Ryan Showalter 247-146, and followed with an equally decisive 256-168 win over Jeremy Witt to advance to the title game. 

        Top seed Cruz, having a great beginning to the season, continued that early hot streak by leading the event here.  Spacey reacted well to his first challenge of the finals though, matching him strike for strike.  In the end though Cruz had just enough for the 233-222 win, and his 5th career JBT title.

        Ryan Gallagher opened the handicap finals with a big 270-208 win over first-time finalist (and Aaron's little sister) Jessica Yoon.  Kjerstin Richards then beat Gallagher 212-164, and followed with a 198-179 win over Luke Jordan to reach the title match.

        Top seed Tyler Satter gave himself a terrific 18th birthday present by leading a JBT event for the first time.  Despite a good effort from Kjerstin, Satter was able to escape with the 192-181 win, capturing his first career JBT title.  He rolled to the win with Ebonite equipment, earning an additional $100 bonus from our terrific title sponsor.
