        Russ Oviatt and Abby Franklin wrapped up an exciting weekend in Northern Arizona with JBT titles in Arizona Conference action at Prescott Valley's Antelope Lanes.

        Scores were much lower than the previous day on a fairly short and flat pattern.  In the scratch division, Russ and red-hot Cortez Schenck survived until the final two, and in the title match, Oviatt's front five proved insurmountable for even Tez.  With the title match win, Russ claimed his 3rd career JBT title.

        Max Polhill had a good run in the handicap division, gaining the all-important points lead with his fifth place finish.  But it was Max's little brother Sebastian who stole the spotlight, getting to the title match against Abby Franklin.  Sebastian had all the previous title match experience, but it was Abby who came up with the better game this time, beating Polhill to earn her first career JBT title.   

        Heather Penatzer swept the weekend's Women's Series events, this time besting points leader Alexis Atkin for the day's crown.
