NARROWS PLAZA

champs Josh Alvarez and Sara Harris

Josh Alvarez and Sara Harris each claimed firsts in exciting Pacific Northwest Conference action at Narrows Plaza Bowl.

Elise Yates, who was already having a good year in the Women's Series finals, broke through for a regular scratch finals appearance, and won round one of the stepladder 189-186 over Kolby Crowell.  Alvarez then took over, defeating Yates 232-168, and following with a 249-171 win over Nick Devlin to reach the title match.

Ryan Nikolas had looked good all day, grabbing the top seed in the first game of matchplay and not looking back.  However, he struggled in the title match, and Josh took advantage for a 205-170 win.  It's his first career scratch title to go with two previous handicap wins.

Collins Davis opened the handicap division stepladder with a 238-203 win over Maddison Durr.  David then rolled past AJ Schock 253-221, before a lower scoring semifinal resulted in a 171-157 win for Brooke Collins, moving Brooke on to her second straight title match, having won in Las Vegas to wrap up Main Event week.

Sara Harris had her best ever JBT performance en route to the top seed, and she looked just as good in the title match, beating Collins 212-163, to finally capture the first title of her JBT career.

Kelsey Abrahamsen and AJ Schock tied for the best girls; qualifying total of +39, with AJ winning the resulting Women's Series final 184-163, for the day's girl's crown.

All of the above action was tremendous, but Tyler Boe stole the show, throwing a 5-count on his third shot to win the PowerBowl jackpot of $600!

Thanks to Chris Goddard and the team at Narrows for a great job hosting a busy event  Want in on all this fun?  Just check out our schedule and come on down!
