        Cortez Schenck and Mason Snow claimed JBT titles in exciting Mojave Conference action at Las Vegas' Red Rock Lanes.

        Dallas Leong began a high scoring scratch division stepladder finals with a 257-248 win over TJ Rock, who had won a tiebreaker over KJ Martinez to get into the finals.  Schenck then stopped Leong 245-226 to reach the title match.

        Nick Devlin, who earlier fired the event's only 300 game, then used a big last game to jump into the tournament lead.  Two early splits spelled doom for him in the title game though, as Schenck stayed in control for a 213-203 win over Nick, good for the 57th title of his JBT career, now just six behind all-time titles leader Kyle King.

        Brendan Lindsey won round one of the handicap division stepladder finals 216-172 over Sam Espiritu.  Mason Snow then defeated Lindsey 213-189 to advance to the title match.

        April McDonnell emerged from a crowded field to earn the top seed.  However she too struggled a bit in the finale, and Snow, at just 9 years old, claimed his first career JBT title with a 231-179 final score.  Three bowlers age 10 and under have already won JBT titles this season- it really is any age and any average!

        Leah Glazer got the spare in the tenth she needed for a 170-160 win over top seed Rachael Berg to claim the day's Women's Series title.
