Paul Colyer and Caleb Andrews earned JBT titles in Mojave Conference action at Wildfire Lanes.
Colyer began the abbreviated scratch division stepladder finals with a 217-209 win over Cerell Cardines. Colyer then turned it up for a 255-216 win over Eric Hatchett to move on to the title match.
Nick Pollak out-struck everyone on the high scoring lanes to gain the top seed. However, Colyer was able to keep on striking while Nick lost the look a bit, and the 232-185 win was good for Paul's second career title, but long awaited first scratch win.
Samantha Conti, a former champ at Wildfire, began the handicap division stepladder with a 211-193 win over Main Event runner-up Christopher Faro. Kyle Wilson then put up a big number to stop Conti 281-239. Sam Espiritu then turned the tables on Wilson with a 268-225 win to advance to the title match.
Caleb Andrews bowled brilliantly all day, and in a very high scoring title match, outdueled Espiritu 269-253 to win the first title of his JBT career.
Rachael Berg kept her momentum in the Women's Series going with a 214-181 win over Morgan Peacha to claim the day's girls title.
