champs Jerry Jennings and Bryan Zeutenhorst with Girls winner Bailey Peters
Jerry Jennings and Bryan Zeutenhorst picked up JBT titles at Lava Lanes in Bend.
Tyler DeLorm edged Jonathan Lorey in round one of the handicap finals 183-182. Another close match in round two saw Colt Jance beat DeLorm 220-212. Zeutenhorst then stopped Jance 211-199 to advance to the finals.
Tyler Coates, picking up steam in the Bowler of the Year race, earned the #1 seed, but couldn't get lined up in the finals. Despite a tough loss, Coates was noticeably helpful in showing newcomer Bryan the ropes, and Zeutenhorst's 194-176 win was good for the first title of his JBT career.
Brian DeLuisa-Anderson beat Andy Herrmann 237-210 in round one of the abbreviated scratch finals. Jennings then stopped Brian 233-172 to advance to the finals. Kelsey Abrahamsen just keeps improving, this time nabbing the top seed, but Jennings was able to beat her 211-190 for the 3rd title of his JBT career.
Bailey Peters added to Kelsey's frustration by beating her 188-164 for the day's Girls Scratch title, while Jennings completed teh daily double with a 190-161 win over Coates for the U17 crown.
