        Solomon Salama and Kyle Wilson earned important  JBT victories in exciting dual So Cal and Mojave Conference action at Victor Bowl.

        Kennison Andrews began the scratch division stepladder finals with a 248-213 win over first time finalist Ricky Pollom.  Andrews then rolled past Cerell Cardines 233-203.  Ryan Lee then stopped Andrews 236-199 to advance to the title match.

        Top seed Salama, already a national champion, has been improving rapidly, and he took over the lead here with a big second round.  In a competitive finale, Solomon outstruck Ryan by a 257-234 final margin, good for the second title of his JBT career.

        Zach Greim opened the eight bowler handicap finals with a 230 game that eliminated Secilia Kalvelage (197) and Garrett Sulzer (190).   Las Vegas' Kyle Wilson then fired 221 to stop Greim (205) and Brandon Criss (212).  Kyle turned it up in the semifinals with a big 246 to oust Rieley Ulanday (207) and Ashley Wilcox (200) to move on to the championship game.

        Phillip Sauve continued a fantastic all-conference season by earning the top seed here in a big field.  He couldn't keep up with Wilson's strikes this time, though, and Kyle's 227-186 win was good for a long awaited first career JBT title.

        Brittany Kolatzny continued a dominant Girls Scratch season with a 151-142 win over Wilcox, while Cardines got some revenge for his stepladder loss with a 214-160 win over Pollom for the U17 side event win.
