Josh Mabry and CJ Todeschi earned JBT titles in exciting 'pick your survivor' action at Chandelr's AMF McRay Lanes.
After qualifying, top seeds chose who they wanted on their pair, with low-bowler-out action game by game until a lone survivor stood. In the scratch division, Harley Sweigart outstruck Kyle Gilbert 265-234 in one semifinal, while in the other, Mabry escaped from top seed Mathew Adragna 214-209 after a heartbreaking 10th frame open from Mathew. In the resulting finale, Mabry's look with plastic up the gutter got better and better, and despite a 9th frame gutterball making things temporarily interesting, Josh stayed in control for a 235-216 win over Harley to earn the 4th title of his JBT career.
