Zach Wojciechowski and Kloey Kielich earned JBT titles in exciting NM-TX Conference action at Silva Lanes in Albuquerque.
'Wojo' climbed the scratch division stepladder to earn his 11th career JBT title. He started with a 215-186 win over Will Davis. He went big in round two, beating Harley Sweigart 268-187 to get to the final. Top seed Deo Benard was great all day, but Zach came up with a second straight 10-strike game, beating Bernard 265-193 for the title.
Kielich also climbed her stepladder with three match wins. First she defeated George Sandoval 215-186. Next was a thriller against Justin Weddige she escaped from 231-230. The title match against top seed JD Messenger was a high scoring thriller. In the end Kielich hung on for a 255-240 win for her first career JBT title.
Robin Prioleau went .500 in the subdivisions, winning Priority Girls Scratch 189-181 over Lauren Jaramillo, and losing to Deo Benard in U17. Huge thanks as always to Silva for hosting our Tour. Want in on the fun? Just check out our schedule and come on down!
