        Over $2,000 in scholarships were awarded to all ages and skill levels at the annual JBT Mountain Conference Doubles Classic, hosted by Tenpins & More @ Rio Rancho.

        In the scratch division, the junior-adult team of Tylor MacPhee and Zach Harvey climbed the high-scoring scratch division, Baker-format stepladder finals.  They got by Chris and Xavier Kitchens in round one, John Green and Gerry Smith in round two, and finished with an upset over top seeds Aileen Linares and Jacob Gill.  Aileen and Jacob had led every round, sparked by Jacob's perfect game in the opener, the only 12-bagger of the day, and both he and Linares averaged over 225 on the day.  However, Tylor and Zach were able to out-strike them in the finale, good for Tylor's second and Zach's 6th title of their JBT careers.

        Handicap's stepladder featured the Colorado team of Katie and Kyle Morse beating Brett Wall and Travis Holly in round one, and then Aiden Ruiz-Jimenez and Robert Lawrence in round two to reach the final.  Top seed father-son combo Josh  and Logan Trujillo proved impossible to stop though, as they each did great in their frames of the finale, winning the match for their first career JBT titles.

          enter for $5 off per junior!                                   --top 4 teams in each division bowl a BAKER

OPTIONAL EXTRAS FOR ADULTS AND JUNIORS !!  (all returned 100%)

Brackets – ‘adult’ and ‘junior’ scratch and handicap brackets will be run.

‘Junior’ prizes are awarded as scholarship and ‘adult’ prizes are awarded as cash.

Adults may also choose to declare any/all winnings to their partner as scholarship.

(in other words, brackets are the only part where ‘adults’ can receive cash)

HANDICAP 90% OF 400 (i.e. -- team entering at 380 will get 18 pins)

Bowlers who have competed in JBT events in 21-22 will use their JBT average.  All others must use their highest

21-22 average, 15 games minimum.  All others will use 200. Teams over 400 MUST bowl scratch.
