The four bowlers above earned spots to the 2024 Junior Gold finals, held in Detroit in July 2024.  Big thanks to Rebecca and the Cactus team for hosting the event!

Date: Friday November 10, 2024  (This is ONE tournament that is one day long, open to anyone age 18 & under as of 8/1/23).  Bowlers MUST be USBC Gold cardholders (this is an upgrade from a standard USBC membership).  Cards ($30) may be purchased on-site.

Start Time: Bowling begins at 4:30 PM

Re-entries?:  There's only one qualifying squad, so there are no re-entries this event..

Reservations:  Please email director@bowljbt.com to reserve a spot.  When emailing, please let us know which age division you're entering (U18, U15, U12). You can prepay (not required) at the 'Prepaying' section of this website.  Reservations (paid or unpaid) must check in no later than 15 minutes before start time.  At that time, all bowlers will be taken on a first come, first serve basis until the field is full.

Format: To run a separate age/gender division requires 4 bowlers in a category.  If there are less than 4 bowlers in a category, bowlers may choose to 'move up' in age, and/or combine genders, to make the required 4, or withdraw their entry.  Bowling is 3 games total pinfall.  1:4 bowlers earn entries to Gold finals in summer 2024.  If entries are not divisible by 4, the extra bowler may choose to buy the difference for their spot (the 'major fraction' rule).

Divisions/ Averages:  This is a scratch only event.

Points:  There are no points at this event.

Entry fee: $60.  $9.45 linage, $50 Gold spot, $0.55 expense.  If a Gold spot is awarded in a lesser entry fee age category, appropriate entry fees will be refunded.

Note: This is a USBC certified event, and all USBC rules must be followed at all times.

RESERVED BOWLERS:

If your birthday is 8/1/11 or later, you are in U-12

If your birthday is 8/1/08 through 7/31/11, you are in U-15

If your birthday is 8/1/05 through 7/31/08, you are in U-18
