2006-07 Arizona Conference Year-End
Awards
Scratch Bowler of the Year (Bowler
of the Year is calculated using a ranking of the top 15 point leaders after the Invitational in the statistical categories listed below, with emphasis
placed on both participation and performance.)
Congratulations to Christian Jensen and Kevin
Saunders, the 2006-07 Arizona Conference Scratch Division Co-Bowlers of the Year.
It's appropriate that one of the most intriguing races in our history would end
in a flat-footed tie between Kevin and Christian, each strongest in three of the
six statistical categories. Joining Christian and Kevin on the AZ All-Star
Team are BJ Baker, Kyle King, and Theo Douthit.

Handicap Bowler of the Year:
Congratulations to Courtney Dutton, the 2006-07 AZ Conference Handicap Division Bowler of the Year.
Another incredible race, this one was a three-way battle with Daniel Cotten and
Kyle Frederick, where each had a strong claim to the award. Courtney led
events bowled and wins; Kyle led top 5s and wins, and Daniel led cuts, top 5s,
and points. In the end, our formular gave Dutton the slightest of edges. Joining
Courtney, Brian, and Kyle on the All-Star team are Eric Vitzthum and Josh Shoup.
