Anthony Stevenson and John Wright claimed JBT titles in exciting Southern California Conference action at El Cajon's Parkway Bowl.

Greg Geering made both the 5-7-8 and the 6-7-9-10 in the opening match of the scratch division stepladder finals, and he needed them both in a 170-166 win over Devin Bidwell.  In a much higher scoring round two, Geering beat Matt Jones 248-222.  The semifinal match came down to the last shot, as Stevenson got the strike he needed for a 196-195 win over Geering to reach his first title match.

Top seed JR Monteith was looking for an important win to close the gap on Kyle King's points lead, and dominated the day en route to the top seed.  Despite JR's experience, though, it was Stevenson who looked completely confident, and his tenth frame strike sealed a 244-227 win and his first career JBT title.

Jeremy Davis opened the handicap division finals with a 215-162 win over Anthony Cruz.  Eddie Sayles then continued a fantastic season with a 216-184 win over Davis, and followed with a 230-222 win over Ricky Clabaugh to reach his fifth title match of the season.

Top seed John Wright debuted with us mid-season, and has made quite a splash of his own, grabbing the top seed to ensure his third title match appearance.  This time, Sayles suddenly lost his look, and Wright took advantage for a surprisingly simple 223-177 win, and his second career JBT title.
